How do humans view their world? 

Very literally, through a panoramic frame.

"With every transformation we take on new forms. One sees his surroundings, he always looks with a panoramic view."

Years of evolution have brought us to this. Such a complex organism that is brought down and undervalued by ourselves.

How dare we judge ourselves or each other's appearance. This being is beyond us, forever incomprehensible.

How dare we put the words beautiful or ugly on something so wonderful of nature.

'Morphing Humans'​

This project started with a frase i overheard at a family gathering; “ugly babies become good looking adults, good looking babies become ugly adults” 

(translated from german).

This statement shocked me and it has stayed with me very much. 

 

For this project I used my panorama camera to capture the world around me and especially the complex people around me.

The beauty of this project is that nowadays almost every phone contains the possibility to take panorama pictures. It has become a new way of photography and portrait photography. More and more people around me starting to use this and inspire each other.
